The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it really is alarmed about the substantial variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The assistance level produced for intervention experiences a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay sassa status a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to allow the servicing of all customers and raise use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
